As a core component of marine piping systems that bears pressure, connects, and seals, flange joints are made of 5086 marine aluminum alloy.

Aluminum flanges are made from aluminum alloys such as 5052, 5083, or 6061, and are manufactured through machining or casting processes.

The lightweight design, fatigue resistance, and easy machinability of 5083 and 6061 aluminum flanges make them widely used in modern shipbuilding.

MC Aluminum provides aluminum elbows, tees, reducers, and flanges for shipyards and shipbuilding. Available materials include 6061 T6, 5083-O, 5052, and 6082 T6.

Using 6061-T6 aluminum flanges can significantly reduce the weight of the exhaust system and even the entire ship, which has a direct benefit on increasing the ship's load capacity and reducing fuel consumption.

For FSW panels used in marine applications, aluminum alloys such as 5083, 5086, 6061, and 6082, which have excellent seawater and corrosion resistance, are recommended.

6082 seamless aluminum tubes have advantages in strength, quality, corrosion resistance, and processing flexibility, and are used in ship masts.

6082-T6 U-channel extruded aluminum profiles offer medium strength, good corrosion resistance, and weldability, making them ideal for manufacturing high-speed vessel components.
